Kroger is recalling some of its pasta products due to a potential bacteria contamination.
The recall is encompassing Basil Pesto Bowtie Salad and Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad made by Nate’s Fine Foods of Roseville, California.
The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious illness or death if eaten for those who are pregnant or have compromised immune systems.

The items were sold between Sept. 6 and Oct. 2 at the deli counter and through grab-and-go packages at Kroger, Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, King Soopers, Payless, Ralphs and Smith’s.
