The Ramada by Wyndham Cornwall was abuzz on Friday night, with the return of the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce’s business excellence awards.

The semi-formal event brought together Cornwallites of all walks of life to celebrate the city’s best, brightest, and emerging talent.

The business excellence awards, which have moved to the fall, are topped off with the lifetime achievement award, the president’s award, and the citizen of the year award.

The evening kicked off with a reception and appetizers before guests and nominees were seated for a dinner during the awards presentations. Guests were served a Montreal-seared, bacon-wrapped chicken entree for dinner.
