FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - We kicked off the month of October with 5 straight days at 80 degrees or higher, and today we will add one more day to that streak. This will already tie last year’s number of 80 degree highs in October, and with one more day it would be the first time since 1997 that we recorded 7 or more days in the 80s in October.
This will all change with a cold front set to arrive tomorrow. Expect a few scattered rain showers as early as this evening with most of the rain expected in the morning Tuesday. Unfortunately, we are not expecting a lot of rain from this front as the heaviest rain will be either to the north or south of the area. Rain totals only look to amount to about half an inch to an inch at most across the area which, with no other rain chances in store, will
