FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Our current weather pattern is (hopefully) further proof I don’t control the weather. If I did, we wouldn’t have nearly hit 90º this past weekend! I would have also “sprinkled” in more rain than we’ve had lately.
Speaking of rain, a cold front moving through the Midwest this evening will increase rain chances across the area tonight into Tuesday with highs barely exceeding 70º. This is going to feel dramatically cooler than what we’ve experienced for the past couple of weeks. Rain amounts look fairly light locally, coming in at around a quarter to, in a best-case scenario, half an inch.
Beyond the front temperatures will drop further, struggling into the mid 60s Wednesday and Thursday, with each morning likely in the 30s. Frost is not expected Wednesday morning,
