Connor McDavid isn’t going anywhere — for now.

The 28-year-old NHL superstar is committing to the Oilers for at least a couple of more years, as he and the team agreed to a two-year, $25 million contract extension on Monday that will keep him in Edmonton through the 2027-28 season.

The $12.5 million average annual value is the same he’s been making since his eight-year, $100 million contract kicked for the 2018-19 season.
