A woman who came to the rescue of a father and his 2-year-old daughter after they ended up stranded at an airport has finally been identified.

Debbie Bolton, the co-founder of Norwex, a microfiber and sustainable cleaning products, was traveling on an early flight from Omaha, Nebraska, to Dallas Fort Worth last month when she saw something at the ticket counter that immediately caught her attention.

“I noticed a father looking increasingly distressed. He was on the phone, visibly worried, and it was clear he was struggling to sort out his child's travel reservations,” Bolton told Newsweek via email.

She learned that he had originally booked the flight when his daughter was under the age of 2, meaning she could fly for free sitting on his lap.

However, the little girl had turned 2
