THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - Thomas University’s Social and Behavioral Sciences Division was awarded nearly $1.9 million in grants.
According to a university press release, the division was awarded two competitive federal grants from the U.S. Department of Education’s Rehabilitation Services Administration.
The grants total nearly $1.9 million over five years. The funds went into effect on October 1, 2025 and TU is recruiting students who will begin receiving tution stipends starting in January.

The first grant, Undergraduate Education in Rehabilitation Services, provides $847,940 to support the university’s Rehabilitation Studies undergraduate program. The funding will offer tuition stipends for 11 students each year over five years.
This will help expand
