City police have charged a 22-year-old teen with 15 charges after a victim was stabbed at an East Street apartment.

Police say the victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at hospital.

Police alleged the accused and victim, who did not know each other, engaged in a verbal altercation in a hallway of the building on Oct. 3.

The following day, the accused entered a unit the victim was in and stabbed the victim multiple times and pointed a firearm at them before running back to his own unit.

The accused refused to exit his unit for several hours. He was arrested on Oct. 5 at 6:20 a.m.
