The 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon is just days away, returning on Sunday, Oct. 12 "for the 47th running of one of the world’s most iconic road races."

The race, which winds through streets of Chicago, is often known for being flat and fast. The route starts and finishes in Grant Park and offers a scenic view of the city, traveling through 29 city neighborhoods.

More than 53,000 participants are expected, according to the Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications.
