Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli confirmed he hasn’t received a speeding ticket from a speed camera.

“I don’t own a car,” he said with a laugh.

Fedeli told t he isn’t one of the cabinet ministers who received one of 23 speeding tickets, according to a Freedom of Information Request obtained by Global News .

He said he agrees with Premier Doug Ford that the cameras are simply a “cash grab.”

On May 1, 2024, a vehicle registered to one of Doug Ford’s cabinet ministers blew past an automated speed camera, going 70 km/h in a 40 zone and netting a $450 fine, according to Global News.
