A 43-year-old woman was sentenced today to six years in prison for aggravated battery after reportedly stabbing and beating a man.

Pam D. Williams entered a plea agreement in September, a couple months after a jury trial that acquitted 19-year-old Dante L. Williams in June. They were both charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery and two counts of criminal confinement after a man was stabbed and beaten.

Allen Superior Court David Zent accepted Pam Williams’ plea agreement Monday, and her attempted murder and criminal confinement charges were dismissed. She was sentenced to 12 years, including six in prison. She faced up to 16 years after pleading guilty to aggravated battery.
