ROCHESTER, Minn. — Traffic on southbound Highway 52 at Interstate 90 will shift to newly paved lanes on Tuesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). This adjustment includes a new temporary access to the eastbound I-90 on-ramp. MnDOT says this change is part of a three-year projec t and allows crews to work on the south ramps of I-90. The detour for southbound and northbound Highway 52 at Marion remains in place. Southbound traffic will take eastbound I-90 to Exit 224, then south on Olmsted County Road 7 to Highway 52 north of Chatfield. Northbound traffic will follow the reverse route.
