Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center continues to expand its network of community practices and affiliated sites. The most recent example is at St. Joseph’s Health in Syracuse.

There, the Roswell Park Care Network recently announced the addition of thoracic surgery services. While St. Joseph’s has been a member of the Care Network since 2023, the new thoracic surgery program gives Syracuse-area patients local access to expert care for lung disease and chest-related cancers.

It’s part of Roswell Park’s goal to expand at its existing locations across the state, to better serve patients closer to their homes, its leaders said.
