BURBANK -- The 2025 Sanchez Family Reunion got a star-studded surprise on Saturday.

Barbara Cosio Moreno and her extended family were gathered in Johnny Carson Park in Burbank for their annual gathering.

As the celebration was coming to a close, her cousins spotted "Dancing with the Stars" judge Derek Hough in the park. "Everyone watches the show. He was standing in the playground area. He was there with his wife (Hayley Erbert)," Cosio Moreno explained.

The cousin walked over and asked Derek if he would take a photo with the family because they are all fans of the show. "He was gracious and came over and we introduced him to my mother, Josie. We told him she was 94 and a fan. He opened his mouth and eyes wide because he couldn't believe she was 94," she added.
