FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 24-year-old Fort Wayne woman charged in the November crash that killed her sister and a young girl was sentenced Monday morning.
Jourdan Hudson was first charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death, neglect of a dependent resulting in serious injury, two counts of reckless homicide, and a lesser neglect charge, which carry a potential sentence of more than 70 years in prison.
Last month, she took a plea deal that allowed her to plead guilty to three counts of neglect of a dependent and operating a vehicle causing death in exchange for a 31-year prison sentence followed by 30 years of probation.
While on probation, Hudson will not be allowed to drive a motor vehicle or consume alcohol or drugs. The agreement also calls for her to follow a no-contact
