A beloved member of the Tulsa Fire Department is being laid to rest on Monday as family, friends, and fellow firefighters honor his decades of service and sacrifice.

Lieutenant Brian Bizzell, a 27-year veteran of the department, died last week in a five-vehicle crash in Owasso.

Today, his colleagues and community members are gathering to celebrate his life and legacy.

Final Farewell

A funeral service for Bizzell is scheduled for in Tulsa.

Before the ceremony, a procession will travel from Owasso to Tulsa, allowing the public to line the route in tribute to a man who dedicated his life to protecting others.
