COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A lawyer for the man accused of child molestation, wanted for 15 years for child molestation charges, appeared in court proceedings Monday, though the suspect did not attend the brief hearing himself.

Edgardo Coscia, who was extradited from Argentina to Columbia County in July, faces two counts of child molestation in a case that was revived after being dismissed in 2023.

The charges stem from allegations by Aspen LeBlanc, who says the abuse began when she was 9 years old. She is now 28.

During the short court session, prosecutors requested additional time to contact others involved in what they described as similar cases.
