COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Three suspects arrested in connection with a deadly shooting on Juniper Avenue appeared in Recorder’s Court Monday afternoon.

The July 27 incident left one pregnant teen dead and another woman injured.

One of the hearings, for 21-year-old Landon Owens, was moved to Friday after his defense attorney did not appear in court.

Police said the shooting happened during a house party, where they found two female victims.

17-year-old Keiauna McFadden, who was pregnant, was airlifted to Atlanta in critical condition. She and her unborn baby later died. The other victim was treated and released from the hospital.

Detectives identified Owens, along with 21-year-old Javon Seals and 18-year-old Deandre Scranton, as suspects.
