1Barnegat, NJ – Administrators at Barnegat High School issued an urgent letter to families Monday after learning that a disturbing social media trend involving students filming themselves urinating on school property has surfaced locally.

Principal Patrick Magce confirmed the high school is working with the Barnegat Police Department to identify anyone involved.

The letter, sent October 6 to district families, calls the act “completely reprehensible,” warning that students who participate, attempt to participate, or even simulate involvement will face serious disciplinary consequences — including suspension, removal from school, and potential referral to law enforcement.
