Police are investigating after a person was found dead in Echo Park on Monday.

The person, an adult man, was found just before noon at Sunset Boulevard and Douglas Street, the Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA.

The body, which was in plain view, is being investigated as a death, not as a homicide or suspicious incident, police said.

Footage shared to the Citizen app indicates the man was found near an RV parked on the street.
