ROCK ISLAND Co., Ill. (KWQC) - The C.A.U.S.E., a Rock Island County coalition and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will be collaborating with local law enforcement to host a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day event this month.

On Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the free drive up and drop off service will be held at several locations throughout the Quad Cities Area including:

Rock Island County Justice Center

Milan Police Department

Moline Police Department

East Moline Police Department

Silvis Police Department

Colona Police Department

Geneseo Police Department

At the drop off locations, community members can drop off unwanted or expired medications, including the following:

Pills (any prescription or over-the-counter (OTC)

Patches

Vaping devices and cartridg
