SHELDON, Iowa (KTIV) - Northwest Iowa Community College shut its campus down, Monday afternoon to make way for over 1,000 high school juniors from around the region to give those students a chance to learn more about what opportunities await them after graduation.
More than 20 high schools bused their juniors to Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, Iowa, for their annual Junior Career Day. There, students could meet with representatives from 40 colleges and universities and discuss their futures.
One of the organizers of Junior Career Day says it helps the students figure out what suits them best after high school.
