TRAVERSE CITY— The Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners has approved significant technological upgrades aimed at increasing security, enabling organization-wide software updates, and ensuring compliance with state standards for information exchange.

The county will partner with Tyler Technologies on this initiative, which will transfer a greater portion of departmental operations to the cloud.

In addition to these upgrades, the Board of Commissioners approved the renewal of Microsoft 365 at a cost of $297,000. Over 550 employees will utilize the software, representing a strategic investment to enhance cohesion across departments.
