A judge set bail at $200,000 for a 17-year-old girl accused of strangling a woman to death early Monday morning at the woman’s Minnehaha home .
Kharma J. Douglas of Vancouver appeared Monday in Clark County Superior Court on an allegation of second-degree murder. Despite facing the allegation in adult court, Douglas is being held in juvenile detention.
She is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
Court records identify the victim as 44-year-old Chantal L. Trotter. The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office will release Trotter’s cause and manner of death.
