Work was to begin Monday on modifications to the roundabout at 44th Street and Connecticut Avenue.

The island on the south side is being modified to better accommodate large vehicles and will require a full closure of the south leg of this roundabout. Traffic can still travel east and west, and use the north leg to and from Connecticut Avenue. ×
