CLIFTON, Texas — A Clifton ISD student is facing charges for allegedly making bomb threats on social media.

According to the Clifton Police Department, officers were made aware of a TikTok account with the name "I'm Bombing Clifton Texas" on Sunday, Sept. 28. Police said the account had no content other than the Clifton ISD logo.

The account was shared around Clifton and with several Clifton ISD students, and Clifton ISD officials were made aware of the account, according to police.

Clifton Police said, at that time, there did not appear to be any danger to any Clifton ISD students, as the threat was not made directly to Clifton ISD or to any specific people.
