EDINA, Mo. — An early Sunday morning crash northeast of Edina injured three.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 1997 Ford F-350 driven by a 21-year-old male from Edina was heading east at 12:40 a.m. on Rule Avenue, miles northeast of Edina, when it left the left side of the road, struck a ditch, overcorrected, left the right side of the road and overturned.

The driver was taken by private auto to Scotland County Hospital with minor injuries. Two passengers, a 17-year-old female from Edina and an 18-year-old female from Knox City, were taken by private auto to Northeast Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. None of the three were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.

The patrol was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, Baring Fire Department and Knox County Rescue
