LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - While the ninth-ranked Red Raider defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this year, they have accounted for 12 combined sacks- much to the benefit of the Ronald McDonald House.

While the defensive sacks may wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks, each one helps out the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest, especially the “Support and Comfort Kids” program. Linebacker David Bailey has become quite the ally for ‘Quarterback S.A.C.K’ this year. With 8:46 to go in the first half Saturday in Houston, Bailey sacked QB Conner Weigman, resulting in a fumble that was recovered by the Cougars.
