The Jets’ woes gave one member of the Saleh family a chance to rub the team’s dismal predicament in their face.

David Saleh, the brother of former Jets head coach Robert Saleh, took aim at the franchise and owner Woody Johnson, mocking the team owner’s decision to fire Robert Saleh last season after starting the year 2-3 through their first five games.

“Last year the Jets were 2-3 playing for first place in their division when [Woody Johnson] declared that ‘the best roster in franchise history needed a spark,'” David wrote on X. “Since then the Jets defense has gone from first to worst donning a record of 3-14.”
