NEW ORLEANS —

Monday, Louisiana State Police announced to WDSU, they plan to release video evidence related to a deadly crash that was initially stated to involve former LSU football player Kyren Lacy.

In a statement, LSP said: "Louisiana State Police have been working diligently to put together an Investigative Briefing Video which will include video evidence and what occurred before, during, and after the deadly crash on Highway 20 in Lafourche Parish on December 17, 2024. Once it is complete, we will release those findings to the public and the media." Advertisement

This statement comes after Attorney General Liz Murrill announced, she has been in touch with Louisiana State Police about "independently reviewing all the witness statements and evidence in this case.”
