Properties in the western suburbs continued to sell for gravity-defying prices last year, with homebuyers willing to splash tens of millions of dollars for a spot in some of the city’s most coveted postcodes.

Palatial entries, lap pools, tennis courts, gyms, saunas, marble bathrooms and modern facades were among the features these multi-million dollar homes boasted.

A six-bedroom 1930s character-filled estate at 33 View Street in Peppermint Grove topped the charts, selling for $14.5 million in May, again cementing Peppy Grove as one of Perth’s most prestigious places to live.

At a million dollars lesser the contemporary five-bedroom coastal mansion at 4 Ozone Parade, Cottesloe was sold to AMB Holdings managing director Todd Bennett and his wife in October 2024.
