WHITEMARSH — Plymouth Whitemarsh secured the Suburban One League Liberty Division championship Monday afternoon. The only question remaining is whether it will have the title to itself or share it with Quakertown.

The Colonials defeated Hatboro-Horsham 7-0 at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School to improve to 8-0 in SOL Liberty play. They are two games ahead of Quakertown with two games to play.

“Last year it was a three-way tie with Quakertown, Wissahickon and us,” PW coach Charise Halteman said. “I felt like we played close games and there were games that we lost that we could have won last year. This year, trying to see us take another step forward, this was definitely the goal.”
