If you’re a government official and a resident of your community tells you his wife’s hair turned green while taking a shower and that his water heater had failed for the second time in five years, you’d think you’d leap into action to find the source of the problem, investigate whether it was unique to that one home or if others were experiencing a similar issue, and work expeditiously to find a solution.

That’s what any responsible public official would do. But in Niskayuna, it’s now going on 11 months since a Several other residents have since raised similar concerns. And still the town hasn’t come up with a solution to their problem.
