BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The National Weather Service confirmed three tornado touchdowns in Tangipahoa Parish after completing a damage survey on Monday. No injuries or major damage were reported as a result of the tornadoes.

TORNADO #1 - Near Hammond

The National Weather Service says that the first tornado touched down near the Hammond Airport at 3:59 a.m. on Monday morning. It was given an EF-1 rating with maximum winds estimated around 90 miles per hour.

NWS details: “An EF-1 tornado touched down on the northwest side of the Hammond Northshore Regional Airport just before 4 am CDT where patches of large branches were snapped.
