The small red biplane was coming from Bowman Field when it crashed. It was not involved in a weekend event known as BowmanFest, WLKY reported.
This is the second plane crash in the Louisville area recently. A pilot crashed late Saturday night in Orange County, Indiana, about an hour northwest of Louisville. He was found alive but injured.
