MASON CITY, Iowa — Steve Strasheim of Twisted River Farm in Mitchell has been named the October 2025 Entrepreneur of the Month by the NIACC John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and North Iowa Area SBDC.

Strasheim founded Twisted River Farm in 2014, transforming it into a successful five-acre produce operation that supplies grocery stores, restaurants, farmers markets, and more across North Iowa.

His journey into entrepreneurship began when he and his wife, Marcy, struggled to find local fresh foods, sparking the idea to grow and sell their own produce.
