Itanagar, Oct 6: The Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) has successfully concluded the 90-day “Mediation for the Nation” campaign on September 30 under the guidance of the Chief Justice of India and Justice Surya Kant, Judge, Supreme Court of India & Executive Chairman, NALSA and MCPC.

The campaign, launched by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and the Mediation & Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC), ran from July 1 to September 30 with the objective of promoting amicable dispute resolution through mediation and reducing court pendency.

During the campaign, 600 cases were referred for mediation by various courts across Arunachal Pradesh, of which 46 cases were successfully settled, showcasing the growing confidence in mediation as a cost-effective and
