EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- The Evansville City Council met Monday, setting in place a new budget for the next fiscal year.

City officials officially approved the budget at Thursday's meeting. The budget covers costs for the city such as a general fund to upkeep the city, a law enforcement training fund and money for parks and recreation.

With utility bills at the forefront of many residents' minds, one person Eyewitness News spoke to says that one important thing missing, help for those in lower income housing on utility bills.
