WILLIAMSPORT — An infirmity defense is planned for the man charged in a Lycoming County motel homicide case.
That was revealed in an omnibus pretrial motion filed in county court on behalf of Robert B. Bohart, who is awaiting trial on charges he fatally stabbed Shannon M. Bowes in April.
Bohart, 47, suffers from a disease of the mind in that he did not know the nature of his conduct or that it was wrong, his public defender Matthew B. Welickovitch contends.
