PHOENIX — Two pedestrians were hospitalized on Monday night in Phoenix due to a car crashing into them, authorities said.
Around 7 p.m., the Phoenix Fire Department responded to the area of 24th Street and Thomas Road after receiving a report that two people had been hit by a vehicle.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found an adult male and a juvenile female with injuries.
After both were treated initially, they were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Phoenix Police Department, which took over the scene, said they had been riding bicycles before being hit by a truck.
