Prime Minister Keir Starmer's upcoming visit to India this week aims to advance mutual interests in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, according to UK Minister for AI and Online Safety, Kanishka Narayan.

The visit, scheduled for October 8-9, marks Starmer's first official tour of India and is expected to solidify the existing foundation for India-UK tech collaborations. Both Starmer and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver keynote speeches at the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai.
