A 24-year-old woman in the UK, Georgia Taylor, passed away after doctors misdiagnosed her symptoms as allergies. Despite reporting rashes, swelling, and leg pain, her condition was not correctly identified.
Her health rapidly declined after a trip to Greece, leading to her death on August 21 in a hospital. She had completed the London Marathon in April without any known medical issues.
