Selena Gomez has shared a sweet video showing Taylor Swift hyping her up shortly before her wedding.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the singer-actress posted footage that her longtime friend had captured on her phone while she was getting ready to marry Benny Blanco on 27 September.

"Are you even serious?" the music superstar jokes in the clip, before zooming in on Selena, who was having her veil fitted at the time. "What? Look at her. Oh my God! Oh my God!"

"I'm so happy," the 33-year-old responds, adding: "I'm getting married. Finally!"

Selena also uploaded a cute snap of herself and Taylor toasting drinks before the ceremony and another photo of them hugging at the reception.

In the accompanying caption, the Only Murders in the Building star congratulated her pal on the release of her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, last week.

"In honor of SHOWGIRL... blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator! I love you @taylorswift forever and always," she wrote.

And during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday evening, Taylor declared that Selena was the most beautiful bride she had ever seen.

"I got to see her be the most elegant, gorgeous - not only bride - but vision I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen anything as beautiful as her on her wedding day," the 35-year-old smiled. "And she deserves all of this happiness. Benny is the best! He's so funny."
