New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has rolled out a new feature that could help many users struggling with weak signal problems. The state-owned telecom operator has launched its Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) service in select circles, allowing subscribers to make voice calls even when mobile coverage is poor.
This launch comes as part of BSNL’s wider efforts to expand its 4G presence and marks its 25th year of operations. With this move, BSNL joins private operators like Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, who have already been offering Wi-Fi calling for a while. For people living in areas where signal drops are common, this feature might be a game-changer.
