MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Among those arrested so far by the Memphis Task Force, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Monday said 82-were arrested on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) warrants. That's the second most group of arrests, following behind what the DOJ described as just "warrants." But immigration advocates are criticizing the tactics they say ICE is using to detain undocumented immigrants, claiming the task force agents are not following through with picking up violent criminals.

"What we're seeing here in Memphis, unfortunately, is a huge increase in racial profiling against the immigrant community and then being executed through traffic stops," said a representative with Vecindarios 901, an immigration advocacy group. "They're pulling people over who are working people.
