A Bengaluru resident was arrested for allegedly killing his wife by repeatedly hitting her with a rolling pin, the police said Monday. The injured woman was initially taken to a hospital, where the accused told doctors that she had fallen, the police said, adding that before dying, she informed the hospital about the assault.
The Peenya police said Chokkasandra residents Preeti Singh, 28, and her husband Chota Lal Singh, 32, hailed from Madhya Pradesh and worked in factories in Bengaluru . They have two daughters.
