PHOENIX — The three stories we're watching in Arizona politics this week:

Grijalva in limbo after Johnson flip-flop

Two weeks after voters delivered a landslide victory, Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva still doesn’t have the keys to her House of Representatives office - or the ability to help her new southern Arizona constituents.

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson initially slow-walked Grijalva’s swearing-in ceremony, then flip-flopped.

“We will do it early next week, as soon as everyone returns to town,” Johnson told a CBS interviewer Friday morning.

But later in the day Friday, Johnson told members the House wouldn’t return this week. The House is now off until Oct. 14.
