STILLWATER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Andie Luskin has helped the Stillwater girls volleyball program reach new heights.
Last year, Luskin was the driving force behind Stillwater's sectional championship run - its first section title in program history. Now, in her junior season, she has Stillwater state-ranked in Class C, and on the path to a potential repeat championship.
Luskin is always about the team first. But Monday night, she was chasing a personal milestone - 1,000 career kills.
The highly-touted outside hitter entered Monday's match with Hoosic Valley six kills away from the mark. She reached it early in the second set, etching her name is the history books as the first Stillwater volleyball player ever to record 1,000 kills.
