Content creator Will Green was 13 when he began cutting his friends' hair and posting the results to social media.
Three years and 175,000 followers later, he is trimming a Labor minister's hair and fronting a campaign using TikTok to inspire young people into skilled training.
But in a cruel irony, the federal Labor government's ban will soon prevent under-16s from creating accounts on social media, effectively making it harder to watch Will's videos or become the next @cutsbygreeny .
"It's pretty unfortunate because a lot of people won't get to learn," he told AAP.
"I've gained so many more friends and a lot of community have come together to love my videos and get haircuts from me."
TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms face fines for breaching the ban of up to
