African football chief Patrice Motsepe has expressed complete faith that the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Morocco as planned, despite ongoing protests in the country. The tournament is scheduled from December 21 to January 18, featuring 24 teams across nine venues.

Morocco has witnessed over a week of demonstrations, with thousands of young citizens demanding political reforms, better public services, and a stronger response to inequality. Yet, Motsepe remains firm that the event will not be moved or delayed.
